There is No Glory

There is no glory
In being born
Then living
And finally dying
Leaving nothing behind;
A name in books
Or books in your name
Creations or just ideas
(For) Approaching generations
From you to benefit
And their feet upon your works
to mount
as they trek this world
To brighter avenues in space
