The Boy Scout’s Knot of Time

Author | Ralfo Manzur

Ten minutes it took to,
tie.
Ten minutes this will take to,
write.

The knot of pleather simply can’t be untied,
similar to my flow of words,
it just can’t stop.
I tie knots with my tongue.

The knot is too complex to solve,
just like deciphering what I’m really trying to say,
I try to make it simple, but I can’t seem to get it
right.
