About the Artist

Born in Tanzania, Nelson Lowhim would describe himself as mixed af. He lived in India for a year and at age 10, he moved to the States (all over from the south to the west to the midwest to the east to Alaska). Joined the Army (yes the US one) and deployed to a few places. Always good to see the way Empire works on its fringes, doesn’t it? He currently lives in Seattle with his wife.
