Yet Still the Sky Is Blue

No, sweet reader, you will never die
unless it’s tomorrow on that small plane
surrounded by all that weather, the water
below, the landing killing you before
the water’s cold embrace, and the world
with its need to fish your limp body out
to verify your teeth.
