Description
The theme for Apricity Volume VIII is inspired by the “Beauty and the Beast” fairytale, juxtaposing internal and external beauty through roses and mirrors. We want this volume to represent the moments when our reflection in the mirror can remind us of who we are when our obligations fall away. We are introduced to the beauty of the classic rose, and then struck with the stark reality of the mirror, both jagged and unforgiving. The design elements of this volume are a return to Apricity’s roots, complete with reenactments of drama scripts and eureka moments.
