About the Artists

Recently returning from a semester abroad at the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) Joel Mendez-Zarate is a senior finishing his last year at the University of Texas at Austin, studying film and Latin American studies. He hopes to combine his interest in politics and history, personal experiences, with his favorite genres of Action, Thriller and Horror; to create films that make the audience go “oh!” To view more of his work click below.
